TV causing behaviour issues – cold turkey or not?

My DD is 4 and watches TV daily for about an hour (more over Christmas). Since then her behaviour has worsened and I’m seeing lots of tantrums, especially when it’s time to turn the TV off.

Even with clear boundaries (e.g. one programme), she always pushes for more and reducing it seems to cause the same arguments as having it. She’s very bright and possibly ADHD, so I’m wondering if screens are just too dysregulating for her. We have a busy life otherwise but I do use the tv for a bit of time to tidy or cook etc.

Would it be better to go cold turkey for a while rather than battle daily over limits? Or is that mean/unreasonable? Experiences welcome.

Just stick firmly to your boundaries and ignore tantrums, she will stop eventually once she realises it won't get her what she wants. Or you can give a consequence - no tv tomorrow if she throws a strop when it's time to turn it off.
