To ask whether I HAVE to go back to work...

Have had a lovely relaxing holiday, bit of bickering from the DCs but generally lovely. DS birthday, they are both off tomorrow so I've booked that as AL as well.
Got to grit my teeth and get through three working days - one is a workshop type day but mainly self-directed so shouldn't be too onerous.
I feel like everyone has been able to rest and has really needed it - particularly not looking forward to 6.45 am alarm for DD to get the school bus!

I’m asking myself the same question & I’ve decided it’s a firm no! 😂

Same boat here. I like myself so much more when I’m not working - I’m not stressed and nagging, housework gets done in a relaxed way, no alarm clock to be forced to wake up to. It makes it so thoroughly depressing to go back to work when I know there’s a nicer version of me during holiday time!

Are you being unreasonable really depends on who you’re asking?

DH - YANBU if you can afford not to.
Boss - YABN if you still want to get paid.
MN - YANBU as you can ask almost anything on here

I could probably afford not to but I like my job in theory, and if I take more AL I'm only building up work for myself when I go back (plus I need the AL for later in the year).
