Tesco is full of them now! It's just nuts.

I wonder how much palm oil vs chocolate are in the eggs this year? Fingers crossed they still taste good.

Popped into Waitrose yesterday. Made the mistake of dragging my DS(21) in with me, and we spotted that they had the 1kg bags of mini eggs on the shelves already. As we didn’t have any chocolate over Xmas, none of us are big fans, I treated DS to a bag but it will take him all month to finish them.

I love an easter egg! The reminder that spring is coming. I just wish they woudl agree the spring celebration bank holidays were on fixed day like say the first weekend April, rather than the crazy moon date.

JustAnotherBoyMaman · 04/01/2026 13:19

I always buy them after easter when they are all on promo 😂😂😂😂😂

What I’ll say is, the number of packets of mini eggs consumed by yours truly in 2026 isn’t 0…

Bloody love Mini eggs! 🐣

Valentine cards in Tesco between Christmas and New Year. wtf? Also something I can’t stand; people snaffling the reduced Christmas wrapping paper a few days after the event. Where’s the fun in that?

I did this yesterday, I bought nice paper this year from Sainsbury’s and yesterday it was 25p in store, why wouldn’t I buy some for next year ?! It’s just wrapping paper, not fun, needs to be as cheap as possible in my opinion!

I don’t but I like it – reminds me that Spring is on the way 🐣

That's a nice way of looking at it. I always feel a bit down when the christmas buzz is over but today the weather is clear and fresh, blue sky. Liked the thought of longer evenings and outdoor activities on the horizon

I was about to agree Easter eggs on sale now is ridiculous, but a kilo of Mini eggs !🤤

Easter eggs you say? That’s my dinner sorted

Oldandgreyer · 04/01/2026 13:57

How many of them say Easter?

They might be January eggs.

Vaxtable · 04/01/2026 13:59

Just bought my first (and last due to the cost) big bag of cadburys mini eggs, my fav choc ever

will have to make the most of them

pinkperm · 04/01/2026 14:02

I know lots of people who buy mini eggs and creme eggs as soon as they come into the shops. But buying the big eggs now is just barmy, they’re full price at the moment and will come down/be on plenty of deals over the next few months.
