Just that really. USA is still part of NATO, and so are we, the UK. So if they bomb the USA back then what will that trigger us to become involved?

There is no way this will involve NATO. I watched a clearly exasperated (but unable to say so) Keir Starmer on the news earlier stressing that this has nothing to do with the UK.

Nothing. This is the US playing dirty in its own backyard and any outside intervention would be shouted down as a breach of the Monroe Doctrine.

The Monroe Doctrine (Europe keeps out of the affairs of the Americas and they keep out of European affairs) doesn't have any legal weight. If it did, the US would not have been able to exert such strong influence in Europe during WWII and the Cold War.

There's nothing to stop the US asking for outside assistance, but Venezuela would be utterly insane to attack the US. They probably wouldn't get very far if they tried.
