To ask how you’d decorate your bedroom around this bed?

About a year ago I chose this bed for my bedroom, not really thinking about how hard it would be to decorate a bedroom around it. But, it’s what I’m stuck with. I have the light pink walls at the moment, which almost look like bare plaster. But I really want to make a change. Just not entirely sure what colour would be best?!

All furniture is light wood. I can get new bedding - I currently have an orange checkerboard set on and I quite like the contrast of the blue and orange. But any tips are welcome!

I think the walls are calling for warmth - orange or terracotta. Think of a peacock feather colour scheme.

Use an AI tool (chat gpt / copilot) and upload photos of your whole room describing your style. Warm/ cosy vs modern. I’ve used it loads recently for colour and design ideas and there’ve been some great ideas.

I think the room will looks much nicer when you move it and the headboard will be shown off better by a plain wall behind it. A deep aqua colour could be lovely, and a white blind or curtains.
