Water filter

My husband bought a water filter jug (without talking to me- which is fine it’s his money). We have very limited room in the kitchen fridge. So much so that my husband bought a separate fridge dedicated to his beer and wine years ago that lives in the garage (again without consultation). He has put his water filter jug in the kitchen fridge “because otherwise it won’t get used” but I’m resenting the amount of room it takes up in the kitchen fridge just to save him walking to the garage. Aibu? Should I request he moves it to the garage fridge?

Surely he is equally entitled to use the kitchen fridge? I think a jug of water is a pretty normal and commonly used thing to keep in a fridge. I use the water jug more times in the day than anything else in the fridge, can something else that doesn't get used as often go out to the garage instead? We keep things like meat in the garage fridge because it's only once a day you go and get something to make for dinner.

I don't bother putting mine in the fridge, I keep it out where I'll actually remember to drink it 😅 I put a few ice cubes in the top that filter through very slowly and keep it cool enough. Not enough room in my fridge either.

He doesn’t need to consult u on everything he buys! You seem hard work. Leave the jug alone, even making this thread. Delulu

Did he buy one of the Britta ones that fit in the door shelf?
