WLI - Mournjaro with Ousch: video consultation pending

Had the shock of my life when I realised BMI tipped over 30. So decided to book the video consultation for Ousch (friend recommended). The consultation is on Tuesday (5 days away).

If I lose a few pounds before then I’ll be under 30 BMI and not qualify. So, do I start healthy eating now and try and go it without WLI? Granted I’ve always struggled with losing weight, self motivation, obsessed with food sometimes. So, I think WLI would be the best option for me. But that means continuing the festive over eating for a few more days.

YABU - Healthy eating now and no WLI
YANBU - continue over eating & start WLI.

Anyone with WLI would be interested in hearing from you too!

If you can loose a few pounds in a few days why not just stick to doing that??

Thanks for the reply. Cos I can never stick to it. I might be able to lose half a stone over the next few months - but I’m still overweight - right now I’m heavier than after giving birth- I don’t recognise myself :(

I’ve not heard of Oushk so had a little google and I don’t think 30 is a cut off is it?

I use Medicine Marketplace and they would prescribe to someone with a 29 bmi. They’d prescribe to anyone they ethically could - they’re a business, they want to sell to customers.

In conclusion, start your healthy eating now :)

Why would you think that a good approach would be to continue overeating... weight loss is never going to be achieved if you continue bad practice until X day then start...
