Too cold to do Woburn Safari park tomorrow?

AIBU to think you don’t get to see the best of the animals in Winter as they will be hiding away from the cold? Has anyone been to Woburn at this time of the year, and was it any good?

Don't know about Woburn but I've been to both Monkey World and the Yorkshire Wildlife Park in winter. Didn't see many animals outdoors, unfortunately.

I wouldn't go tomorrow. If you are to go in winter I'd suggest February half term or even March, when at least you can be there beyond 4pm if you wish with longer daylight.

It’s meant to be -7°c in some parts of the UK tomorrow, I highly doubt any animals which normally live in the deserts of Africa would be happily lounging around for viewing.

It is very expensive and you won’t see as many animals. On the other hand the roads round the safari might be quieter!

I think it's pretty dismal from memory but we are probably doing it anyway for want of anything better! Watching in case someone has a good suggestion 😁

It’s cold. I doubt the animals will want to come outside.

I was at Woburn Safari Park on Monday. We saw everything. We have had a year ticket that is about to run out so have been so many times this year. We all commented that this trip we saw the animals in different places and for some far more up close. Lions, Tiger, the wolves were even out which doesn't happen often. We saw everything! And it wasn't to busy so walking around was great. Only animal we didn't see was the red panda!

Thank you, that’s really good to know.

The big indoor slide center is closed, right?

At woburn? Softplay was open on Monday, all the slides were open. Just the outdoor slide was closed, but not certain- my two are too small for the outdoor slide!
