itsthetea · 30/12/2025 16:43

Yabu becuare I found this out quite a while back … on here

blankcanvas3 · 30/12/2025 16:44

I found this out this morning and I was speechless!

GreenPoms · 30/12/2025 16:44

Speechless?

Egglio · 30/12/2025 16:44

Big Recipe made me chuckle. I am disappointed you haven't included one of your trademark gifs though @mumofoneAloneandwell Grin

TwoLeggedGrooveMachine · 30/12/2025 16:44

I voted YABU because I already knew this and if you search for a recipe online there is usually a good food entry not including the BBC logo and a BBC entry as well so obvious they are no longer one and the same.

I had no idea until I saw a tweet! (i am back on twitter, despite declaring myself too old for it, this time last year 🤷‍♀️🙈

That does make sense though, as I have had this issue 😄

When I go on the good food website the address is bbcgoodfood and when I google it it comes up bbc good food so do that reason it isn’t obvious.

Ladymuckypuddle · 30/12/2025 18:03

I didn't know that and I use the site a few times a week.

Anyone remember the good food Facebook group during lockdown that was such a fantastic group.

DH woke me up to tell me 😂 it’s a pressing issue in our house!! I think he saw the tweet!

So it does. The name of the site is Good Food with no BBC on the logo but the web address is bbcgoodfood. Weird.

gingercat02 · 30/12/2025 18:14

That's why they started charging for the app.

From what I can gather it’s for branding continuity
