Gosh, Ewan McGregor was gorgeous back in the day.

Just watching Brassed off, so very handsome.

I remember watching trainspotting when I was about 15 and being absolutely in awe of him back then too.

Try and find yourself the Pillow Book. The film is boring as fuck, but you do get to see rather alot of Ewan, and there is LOTS to see.

Hey that's my future husband you're talking about! 😂 I know people don't like him but I thought that he came across really well on Long Way Round and Long Way Down and always seems ok in interviews. I guess it's because of his marriage breakdown and I know the optics weren't good but I'm not going to judge someone else's marriage.
FWIW my sister knows him a little through mutual friends and likes him, he still spends time with school friends etc.

My guess is that anyone who has been famous since about 1985 will have a sour streak due to the unrelenting awfulness of the media. But presumably he also has a nice side.

My guess is that anyone who has been famous since about 1985 will have a sour streak due to the unrelenting awfulness of the media. But presumably he also has a nice side.

Honestly he was really nice back in the 90s, unlike one of his costars who turned into an absolute bell end prick, and I had known him since we were kids.

I think I last saw him maybe 15 years ago, and we had a wee chat and catch up, and he was really lovely then too.

I guess opinions about me would vary depending on who you speak to as well though so the rumours about him being a knob don't surprise me.

I remember him hanging about Reading Festival backstage with Anne Friel pretending they were not in a relationship. He was stunningly gorgeous. I was off my face though.
