Flu and cough

I have succumbed to the dreaded flu, well that’s what I assume it is. Haven’t been able to move really for three days and fever and aching all over. Although if it was flu I do feel quite human after 3 days so perhaps it wasn’t. I have an awful hacking cough and sorry for too much info, have been coughing up chunks of brown whatever. Can’t be food as I really haven’t eaten anything. Not sure if it’s a sign of an infection and whether I need to try and get antibiotics. Obviously I don’t want to bother a GP if not needed as I know people will have more serious issues than coughing up brown whatevers. Thank you.

Yeppp, they are almost chewable aren't they 🤮 it does pass (I'm week five at still not right but getting there).

It’s been two days for me. Sweating, coughing, temperature all over the place. Head full of gunk. You don’t need a GP. Drink lots of water, take Sudafed or cold and flu relief and rest. I’ve barely moved and look like hell but it will go in a day or two. Hopefully before I’m out on NYE.
