Work crush..is this normal?

For the last few weeks I have developed a mad crush on a work colleague and it is doing my head in. I can’t think straight or even talk properly when he’s around. I have no intention on acting on it, he is in a relationship and I don’t even really understand how it has happened and why it occupies my mind so much.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this and how the hell you started thinking rationally again???

Someone will be along to 'upgrade' it to limerence because it sounds more grown up, but crushes can happen at any age.

They make the working day more fun!

Sounds like limerance op, do a search and you’ll find many similar threads on it.

And it might be an idea to have a think about anything that might be missing in your life.

this happens to me when my own life has serious gaps and usually fades once I have found a way to fill those gaps in a ‘better’ way. Good luck
