Constant photos and videos on phones

I'm getting tired of people unable to enjoy a moment anymore. In the last week I've been to the theatre and rugby and both times I've struggled to enjoy what I'm watching as people are holding phones up videoing and taking photos. We went to fireworks in the Autumn and all I could see were phone lights.

Does no one enjoy watching something just to be there?

I agree. I pulled out of a Christmas night out because I just can't be bothered with the constant posing and preening. Its encroaching into the workplace as well. I hate seeing a concert or Glastonbury or whatever on TV and it's just a sea of phones. It does my head in.

You just need to find the right crowd! I went to a gig recently with a demographic age 50+ and there were no phones it was great!
