To think weaning 13mo DS off overnight bottles will stop the wake ups?

He falls asleep independently but still wakes three times a night. I give him a bottle after 3am only and he tends to go down then until a fairly reasonable time. I’m a bit hesitant to wean as at the moment, it seems to be the only thing that is helping us get to morning without constant wake ups.
What are people’s experiences with weaning from bottles overnight at this age?
AIBU to think that weaning him off it will reduce the wake ups?

I recall gradually diluting the milk during the night over a couple of weeks and that seemed to do the trick

I weaned at 3 years old from night time bottles- late I know but we had bigger fish to fry so kept bottles as a comfort. I’m not tough enough to just remove the bottles so I diluted with water. With the help of ChatGPT tracking every bottle every two nights I changed the ratio of milk to water and it was very very slow - my choice to go slow - but it worked and she is a better sleeper because of it.

I stopped overnight feeds (BF) at a similar time, and moved from co-sleeping to cot. Baby slept far better and wake ups went from every 2 hours to sleeping through within a month (although struggled to fall asleep initially).

I breastfed mine until he was 2 and a half and he would wake in the night for some
milk until then, I was shattered! We broke the habit by dh going in with a beaker of water which he never wanted and it was easily sorted after a week or so.

I stopped bf ds during the night at 9 months. Blissful nights sleep for all followed.
