Excessive use of Toilet roll

We having a few issues with having to reflush constantly but since lodger been away this has gone! So we know it’s cause the lodger uses 1/2 toilet roll everytime he goes to the loo.

its ridiculous amount of toilet he goes through compared to us 2 females who have used 1/4 of toilet roll since he been away for Christmas for 5 days.

No, he's not a typical bloke. This is not normal, and he needs to be told to use the brush and leave the toilet immaculate. Everytime. If he can't do this, he needs to find another lodgings, who are happy to put up with his unusual toilet habits.

I think you should all agree to just buy your own and use your own toilet roll for a start I lived in house sharing situations before and never crossed my mind to use other people's products toilet rolls or bleach I always used my own
If he's leaving marks down the toilet ask him to clean it or put a note up in bathroom and state please clean up after your self if these are the only issues I think eviction is harsh

How do you know 'he leaves rubbish all over his floor' - presumably you mean in his bedroom, which as a lodger he pays you to have private use of? Even worse, how on earth do you know his posture when he sits on the toilet?! Another space with an expectation of privacy. Are you spying on him with hidden cameras, or ... ? This is really fucking weird.

Well, that's different. I'd give him clear instructions about leaving the loo clean and I'd say you need to supply your own loo roll as im not paying for the astronomical amount you use. Girls can use pink he can use white.

The 'lady' that used our front garden/drive didn't even use leaves. Just in and out within literally 10 seconds !

This post should be retitled “Excessive Buying of Bleach and Loo Brushes”. He uses loo roll which is biodegradable to make sure he leaves a clean loo.
Meanwhile you use bleach and buy and throw away a loo brush every month causing serious amounts of avoidable environmental damage.

I am in an Air bnb for Xmas rn and the plumbing here is delicate. I do a courtesy flush or two while doing my business so things don’t get clogged. I do have IBS. So I will think I am done, all wiped and then more comes and so have to wipe all over again.

Your lodger may have a gastric condition like IBS and he is likely making sure he is clean.

I’d tell him that there’s an issue with the plumbing so he either needs to use less paper or flush halfway through! Awkward conversation but that comes with the territory.
