To think this charity linking young people and elderly people sounds great but that it needs to change it's name from "Kissing it Better" ?

Link to that charity below. I genuinely like the sound of what they do. I am glad they are in the Times campaign. But I find the name deeply unsettling. I don't know if that's just because of an awful experience in my own life with a much older person I knew through volunteering as a teen, but I just think it's a really odd name to pick!

I mean she recognises that she wouldn’t choose the name again if she founded the charity in 2025. In literally the first few lines.

I know that. So why not just change the name?

And it's not like she founded the charity in 1950! It was 15 years ago.
I worked with young people long before that and we were well drilled in safeguarding. It just feels like such an unnecessarily odd name to pick

Yes, odd name. And a bit of a faff but not that hard to change it.

The one I really hate is "Coppa Feel".
