To drink wine out of a mug?

Im an alcoholic in recovery and hiding alcohol in plain sight is the oldest trick in the book OP. Why you so bothered about your sister knowing if its really not a big deal??

I've been drinking wine from a mug this evening. Staying in a travelodge. There are no glasses.

Im of the opinion that the vessel makes the drink taste different. There are particular mugs in the house that I cant drink tea out of, its just not as good.

So no. You cant drink wine out of a mug, drink it out of a proper glass with a stem

Ok right we beleive you, when there is no other vessel I will drink out of a mug but I dont care who sees, you are scared someone sees you drink alcohol and you think you dont have alcohol issues?

Not unreasonable to drink your wine out of whatever you choose - but why do you need to pretend ? What’s it to do with your sister?

No water glasses in the bathroom ?

If that's what you want to do, go for it. I prefer to drink it straight from the bottle.

Well I got a nice new mug for Christmas, and a bottle of Baileys. I was sitting on the sofa and couldn't be bothered to get up for a glass, so I drank the Baileys from the mug. One of the nice things about being an adult is being able to do this kind of thing 😁

I have - but it was a while ago. I think they can differ in quality, some have been upgraded, others more basic.
