Oh shit have a ruined the turkey?

Just the turkey out. Waitrose crown in tin. Instructions said remove packing except tin but just discovered a foil pad under the turkey. Is this ok to eat?

My uncle microwaved a chicken for us once, it was the nicest chicken ever, however he is a trained chef of many many many years experience, and everything he makes tastes fabulous.

He tried microwaving a chicken and decided it was lovely and moist, and he was right.

Ive tried myself, and it wasn’t quite the same, it looks awful, but does taste ok, but his was fabulous.

My M&S one specifies to leave the foil pad in. It is meant to be there. Enjoy your turkey.

This year the instructions for mine were to leave the pad in place whilst cooking. In the past I have removed. This year, kept it, all fine.

To be Removed when using microwave function
