Sick of people saying Xmas is ruined over some trivial thing

Merry Christmas everyone

Past couple of days I have seen people saying Xmas is ruined by trivial things. Such as no Xmas crackers, the turkey they ordered is smaller than planned.

Your Christmas isn’t ruined,

Christmas being ruined is when your home is flooded, had house burglary, house on fire. Being made unnecessary homeless. NOT when something trivial such as above.

Those who say Christmas is ruined because they have no Xmas crackers. You have a roof over your head, other food.

Forget the lack of crackers, smaller turkey etc and enjoy Christmas.

Same here! I found out a month ago my cancer treatment wasnt working so had to start a new one.
Spent all of yesterday in the chemo unit so nothing will spoil today.

The irony of you posting a moany thread on Christmas Day of all days about people moaning about Christmas being ruined! Honestly, most of those threads about missing food items etc are lighthearted and should be taken as such. Maybe log off Mumsnet and have a eggnog or something to lift your Xmas spirits?! 🎄🎄🎄🎄
