Letting Him Down..

I’ve suffered since the age of 11 with horrendous periods.

I am now 44 and i’ve only just been diagnosed with Endometriosis, alongside haemorrhaging cysts. (i have a lot of other problems)

Just started (last week) Chemical Menopause Injections and HRT treatment.

I didn’t think it would be easy at all but I feel horrendous. First few days I thought I was doing well and now i’m burning up, feel so low and weak and everything hurts.

Plus i’ve started a random period of some kind.

I’ve put out all Santas presents for my four year old.

Tomorrow is going to be a day of pretending to smile and i’m so gutted as a few days a go I had butterflies.

I know his little face in the morning will be priceless ❤️

You aren’t letting him down at all!

sorry you feel horrendous, is there anything that helps?

I have hot water bottles and heat pads everywhere. I’m just so frustrated x

You actually sound like you might have caught a virus in addition to your treatment, so I'd treat it like flu with lemsip and ibuprofen x

I'm so sorry, my darling daughter is in the same position and due to go in next month to have some serious ablation (for the 2nd time). She survives on painkillers and heat pads and has lost so much weight. Your little boy will have a wonderful day, 4 is a super age for Christmas, and will probably be so excited that he won't notice you're preoccupied so please be kind to yourself and just let the day unfold. I hope it improves soon 💐
