To ask what have I forgotten (Christmas Prep)

I have that awful nagging feeling I have forgotten something and I am hoping someone will spot what it is :/

Presents are wrapped
Turkey is butchered, legs boned/stuffed
Veg peeled except parsnips
Stuffing made
Trifle mostly assembled
Gravy I will make tomorrow

I have definitely missed something. What could it be?!

In recent years it has been making sure to have a metal ladle for the pyrolytic brandy show over pud.

Bloody modern plastic silicone ones 🤦🏼‍♀️

I usually have the mashed swede prepped, as well as caramelised onions ready for the gravy, veg peeled ready, and roast pots cooked and ready for roasting in pan!

This year I have my Christmas dessert made, onions sliced but uncooked, pigs in blankets and stuffing prepped. Everything else will have to be done tomorrow, but thank goodness we're not hosting! I do a Christmas eve buffet, and I'm exhausted already, and excited young kids still up!! 🥱

Pigs in blankets assembled?

Take sausages out of freezer.

It was pigs in blanket!!!! Crisis averted 😂
