I was someone wearing it in Covent Garden a few weeks ago. It was emerald green and only had embroidery/embellishment on the back, almost oriental in style with lots of gold.

The label said was black and said I think CL on it on white or gold with a vine/floral design (she had it hung on a chair).

Sounds like it could be a vintage Christian Lacroix piece? The clothing label design had flowers and vines on it in the past and there was period when there was a lot of gold embroidery and embellishments on their pieces.
