Of course we are - it’s Christmas! Whole family including myself down with horrible cold/flu type virus, DD even had vomiting last week for good measure. Night nurse for me tonight in the hope I can sleep and wake up Christmas Day feeling slightly better. Anyone else poorly?🤒

I'm currently sat in the Drs waiting to be seen. Have had this cold virus for the past 3 weeks and feel rough as anything!

Sorry Op. We have been unwell, I ended up on steroids and antibiotics. Hope you all recover soon. Do Christmas another day if needed

Yep! Myself, both kids, extended family, in laws. Last man down was DH and he woke up today with a sore throat which has gotten worse throughout the day

We’re just at the end (I hope!!) of some horrible illnesses. DS was admitted last weekend for two nights with RSV and low blood oxygen levels. DD2 has been full of cold and coughing for over a week and she needed regular calpol/Nurofen last weekend for a continual high temperature. DH and I have both been full of cold this past week too. DD1 is the only one who seems to have got away with it. 🤞🤞

Me, also feeling sorry for myself! It’s just a cold but I still feel groggy with a stuffed up nose and sore throat. Too early for a medicinal drink?!

Yes, am feeling terrible. Thankfully not much to do now but means can’t visit my Dad in hospital tomorrow 😭. Hope you feel better soon.

I have a stinking cold. I think it has peaked, so hope to be cooking a nice roast lunch tomorrow, and then will retire for an afternoon nap.

Yes, in bed for two days. It's been a tough year, and a particularly brutal run-up to the festive season, so I really hoped for a nice Christmas, but I can't see myself feeling up to much tomorrow either. DP isn't coping well, but I'm not able to generate any cares -he is being hard work, emitting a strong whiff of burning martyr. I might tell him that I likely succumbed to this bug as I'm exhausted from doing an awful lot of heavy lifting where he's failed to step up.

Yes! Several in DS’s class reported having a virus, which he then got and passed to me and DD. Flu like symptoms which have been really hard to shake off, still feel rough now over a week on. Wondering if it’s Covid.

Day 9/10 for me and I've had enough. My actual symptoms have eased (cough / temperature / blocked sinuses / heavy cold now all gone) but I have zero appetite. The mere thought of food makes me heave. I've not eaten properly for over a week and I'm so low on energy. Hoping and praying for a Christmas miracle tomorrow as we're guests and I don't want to let my family down. Hosts and other guests are happy for me to attend even if I'm not able to eat much. I'd rather have been banished!!
