My 2.6kg crown is now unwrapped and covered in the fridge - it needs a minimum of 48 hours.
Can be done more quickly at room temperature but that’s not as safe.

Thank you. Just taken my turkey crown out if the freezer and popped my gammon in the slow cooker. 2 jobs ticked off today's list.

My turkey crown from Iceland is cook from frozen.

No space in the fridge to defrost anything so ease all the way for me.

Mine is also now out and in the fridge thanks to your reminder. Mine can be cooked from frozen but it ideally suggests a 48 hour defrost so im just in the nick of time! Thank you OP!
