Is this a normal mum thing or do I have something deeper going on?

I have trouble giving away/selling my children's clothes that they have grown out of. Today I gave a few bags full to the charity shop and then found myself in a slight panic and going back to get some of the clothes back eg ones from photos that I remember them in or certain times when I remember they wearing that clothing etc.

Does anyone else do this or is this just maybe something deeper that I haven't dealt with or is it just a normal mum thing?

I have three boxes in the loft of children’s clothes. When I bag clothes up to get rid off, I keep them in the hall for a few days. Over those few days I’ll back track on a few items and get them back out. Then after a few days I’m happy to give it away.

I found passing on my DDs clothes to friends and family easier. I kept a few bits but there is no point keeping stuff just for the sake of it.

I passed all my DS’s clothes on and some of them got passed on again. I only kept one item from each DC.

I've got a big box full of baby clothes that I cant let for of, and I normally happily chuck things out
