Urgh I think I was boastful at drinks last night

Didn’t mean to be necessarily, these women tend to make me feel a bit small etc. I think I was boastful on one or maybe two occasions!
Embarrassing! Hoping this is hangxiety and not as ‘bad’ as I remember.

Complimenting the hotel you stayed in and saying you had a nice holiday sounds like the sort of harmless chitchat you'd have around the table drinking tea and eating cakes.

Certainly nothing to be embarrassed about and doesn't sound like outrageous drunken bombast either.

I was boastful, and didn’t even have a drink. Apex school mum boasting about her high achieving children, so I made up a tonne of shit about my kids none of which was true. Felt great!!!

Hangiexty is one of the main reasons I stopped drinking more than a couple of glasses! I just couldn’t cope with the days of anxiety but I would say it’s ALWAYS worse in your imagination, most people will just be worried about what they said and did and won’t remember your embarrassing things
