Mother and father in law turned up unannounced earlier today, the door was unlocked and they let themselves in.
They blamed my husband and said it was because he wasn’t texting them back- they tend to text or call him often.
I carried on making dinner and father in law was with toddler (nearly 2) in the hall. My father in law came wondering over and asked if my toddler is allowed to climb the stairs alone we said no, my husband ran over and the toddler was at the top of the stairs luckily he hadnt fallen.
They keep pushing for alone time with our toddler but I dont think it’s safe, this is the latest in a variety of things.
AIBU to say supervised visits only? And to please not let themselves into my house/ call before coming over?
