Catching up with I Fought the Law. Excellent, Sheridan Smith brilliant, as always and strong supporting cast.
One scene has just had me shouting at the screen, though. She wakes Charlie, who’s just home from hospital after an heart attack, to tell him that she thinks there’s an intruder in the house.
No, writers! That did not happen. She would have led the charge or at least gone downstairs with him.

I live alone & have a mental illness which means if I’m unwell, I can hallucinate at night for example that there is someone downstairs. It seems very real at the time. So I have no one to send down the stairs do I? I just switch on the lights & go down there myself. And if I had a male visitor I still would go down there myself.
