Name change if you please - the first i heard of him being a weirdo (minus the blackface) is when he was exposed as being rude on BGT

Was that the same time as that gay guy was reported as waving his willy at people, cant remember his name?

Apparently there have been stories going back years?

See this tweet screenshot

Anyway, good riddance to bad rubbish.

Don’t know much about him, but I saw him on the Michael McIntyre game show “The Wheel” recently and he was extremely rude to a contestant who disagreed with him on one of the answers. Saying something like “bye, don’t come back”. He seems a bit entitled to me and a bit unpleasant.

LordBummenbachsMagnificentBalls · 20/12/2025 15:19

Just another one of those loud men who shout over everyone else and seemed get away with it on TV because it’s entertaining (see Russell, Greggggggg and Jeremy Clarkson, although obvs no allegations against Clarkson)

The gay bloke waving his willy was John Barrowman. I used to love him and saw him in concert several times but haven't bothered since all that came out about him.

Reddit has some eye opening threads. Just google David Walliams Reddit.

I hope his team contact you or mumsnet about your libelous post.

You have no proof. Rumors are that Rumors. Its very damaging to people. Think of his sister if you cant think of him.
Think how you would like it too.

Would you like it if people made up stuff about you.

Apparantely lol. How immature. I hope the admin team take your post away.

Vanderpump Rules Eye Roll GIF

I heard it online?!?! Its all over twitter 🤷‍♀️

I accept that it had to be deleted by mnhq, apologies mn!

Well @Netcurtainnelly, by the sounds of it, he has no business suing anyone!

The fact is that he made derogatory comments about contestants on his show, after building a career mocking black people and wearing blackface. Thats not a good person and he should've been dropped by his agency a lot sooner.

I think his 'characters' have caused immense harm to members of society, and that isnt 'apparent' but is people's lived experience.

But you spend your free time defending this man, who is facing allegations from multiple women. That is, truly, the definition of 'maturity'👌🙄🙄🙄

Apart from punching a production assistant for not bringing his steak quickly enough (may have forgotten some details).

Love this gif. I finally persuaded DH to watch VPR with me from the beginning! We just got to the end of season 2 with Stassi's backhander and Ariana is now in the cast

GingerBeverage · 30/12/2025 14:46

A friend in children’s publishing has said that he is extremely litigious. She said there have been cases of NDAs to silence people.
The fact that despite this, these stories are still coming out shows a pattern of behaviour that goes back a long time.
IMO he doesn’t seem to be the type to accept he is wrong, and to resolve to change.

Ironfloor269 · 30/12/2025 14:46

He is an odious, predatory man. Very dangerous. Those in the know, know.

Investigative journalism article here on the event DW compered (3x iirc?)

(This is from one of several threads on DW on MN, this article was 2018, but rightly or wrongly, I do judge a man on the company he keeps and the jobs he takes. Corporate gigs are lucrative but this one has red flags all over it).

What I said at the time:
The investigative reporting by Madison Marriage was good enough to see the Presidents Club charity disband the following week. Walliams did not comment for the aforesaid article but later tweeted that he had presented only and left at 11.30pm so not at the after party. He will, however, presumably have been part of the misogynist banter if he was actually conducting the auction, as it included "cosmetic surgery for your wife".
The event's brochure included a full-page warning that harassment would not be tolerated, and that the Presidents Club would not be liable for it if it did happen. That this was in the literature says it all quite frankly.

Also cannot believe that Dandridge said she was unaware of any reports of sexual harassment and with the calibre of guest, she would be astonished.
Same woman who allegedly told all the hostesses that guests could be "annoying". To annoy is to harass/disturb/molest/pester ffs.
Do not misunderstand me, women are not responsible for men's actions - that is on them - but it is bloody depressing to hear that a woman was in charge of procurement (same as those women who sent models to photographers, actresses to hotel room meetings, or actively groomed teenagers for their wealthy boyfriends). Too many men (and some women) suck.

I don't defend this man, as I don't particularly like him. But everyone is entitled to a fair trial and if these allegations are true, then he should face a court of law.

If you heard it on twatter then it must be true. 🙄

He should be investigated properly, not just trial by media.

And again, I don't like him.

Soonenough · 30/12/2025 15:09

Think it is all a bit unfair . Being rude is not a criminal offense .
As to the blackface , etc. it was deemed perfectly acceptable for those involved? So why only him being vilified. How about Matt Lucas , the make up artist ?
!, the writers , the producers , the camera guy , etc ,etc.... It seems a shame that comedy is now plagued by too much wokeness. The reason so many things are funny is that it held up the outrageousness of racism , misogyny, as something to be pathetic and to be laughed at . I know this is not a popular view .
