To find ITV news ridiculous?

I know they have a fluffy bit at the end but how to wrap presents? Really? Dh walked in and asked if I was watching Blue Peter!

Ha ha! Never really watched ITV News much but have caught it a few times this week and thought exactly the same. Feels like they've had at least two stories on Christmas lights this week alone. I guess the rest of the news is so absolutely awful they're trying to lighten the mood!
