To say no to party

Ds 17 was due to have his birthday party this weekend. Due to the fact he's been off school with the bloody flu-tupe that's doing the rounds, I've said we need to postpone the party.
I know for a fact that despite being told "I'm fiiiiine" whilst barking like sealion, that I won't be thanked by the other parents for sending them home in the run up yo Xmas with whatever it is!
AIBU.
Teen thinks I'm the devil incarnate right now!

I imagine he caught it from school in the first place.

If he feels well enough for the party, I’d still go ahead but tell him to make sure everyone knows he has been off.

Not a good idea to host a flu-catching party.

Not unreasonable to reschedule. Would be unfair to willingly expose everyone to a virus unnecessarily this close to Christmas

This is what I think, definitely not a good idea!
