To ask if you are constantly seeing WW3 things on your feed

Im constantly seeing WW3 stuff online (for example my Instagram feed, Facebook, MSN news feed on internet explorer at work.

I’m just curious as to whether everyone else sees this, or if it’s just because I clicked on something once and now the algorithm thinks I’m super interested in WW3

@SeaAndStars OH MY GOD ASK ME FOR FERAL WOMAN CONTENT!

You will LOVE the Instagram account macabredarklingwanders - all her own spooky forest videography with feral captions. https://www.instagram.com/macabredarklingwanders?igsh=MmV6c2U2czg5Y2Qw

And for UK/Irish humour and especially talking shite about tea, you have to watch Garron Noone, and his singing is just gorgeous, too. He’s such a big, beautiful bastard; love him. I’ve been following him since he was a wee Irish Instagrammer and he’s well famous now, which he finds hilarious, which just makes the whole thing even better. Here’s some tea content from him:

Mine is woodturning, cake decorating and pottery (all stuff with twirly rotating things that I find mesmerising) and cats and wild animals who have adopted rabbits, ducklings, chicks or other inappropriate species to nurture, and babies and toddlers doing cute stuff.

You can do searches for more positive things nd it will adjust your algorithm to include more of them

Dunnow · 18/12/2025 10:59

No but I only really have FB now and that’s mostly for home ed resources and local groups. I was getting loads of more and more extreme political content but I started clicking not interested on everything remotely political and don’t get any of it now. Life is better for it!

TheNoonBell · 18/12/2025 12:23

It's just state propaganda, just ignore it.

cramptramp · 18/12/2025 12:27

No I’m not.

RaininSummer · 18/12/2025 12:28

I haven't had anything like that.mine is all crochet, feminist stuff and maximist interior design.

EasternStandard · 18/12/2025 13:06

No it’s an algorithm thing.

Taupeness · 18/12/2025 13:08

None at all.

You must have viewed a news article, or vid etc, about it. Now the algorithms think you're interested.

Remember, Facebook and Instagram are the same company. And they also share info/cookies with other sites like Google.

@FFSToEverythingSince2020 I've looked at macabredarklingwanders - I'm hooked. Thanks for introducing me to a whole new world.

utterlytraumatised · 18/12/2025 14:17

Yes, I’m seeing a lot of things. Mainly people taking the piss but some people are genuinely concerned. I think it’s arrogant to mock people for being worried too, which is another thing I’m seeing a lot of.

Oh, I’m so glad! I hope it does great things to your algorithm. Also, if your sense of humor is like mine, you might like this account too. It’s all feral-style humour over classic illustrations of wizards and gnomes and such:
