There’s something deeply satisfying about seeing reality check moments for men, especially when they’ve coasted through life assuming the rules don’t apply to them.
Often white, often privileged and often used to being centred and excused. Whether it’s getting called out for bad behaviour, not getting the job they assumed was theirs or finally being held accountable, it’s refreshing to see the entitlement not get rewarded for once.
