Water company and reminder emails?

Netcurtainnelly · 17/12/2025 14:05

Wonder what the water company think they are doing.
They sent the monthly bill out dated 9 December.
On the day I received it, they had already sent out a reminder to pay.
Never missed a bill ever.
Its disgusting give people a chance to pay.
😐
Anyone else getting this?

Also what if your on holiday, or post delays. Over Zealous.
Should stop.

It. Doesn't. Matter.

Just pay your bill in time. Email them to inform them of their mistake. Move on.

Vaxtable · 17/12/2025 14:22

Most people pay by direct debit, so set one up then you won’t get chasers

lazyarse123 · 17/12/2025 14:23

No but my water is on direct debit. But not surprised greed is their thing.

Branster · 17/12/2025 14:29

I haven't had this OP but I think it's just an automatic reminder generated for customers who don't use direct debit.
Best ignore. I agree it's a bit annoying though.

Greggsit · 17/12/2025 15:02

It's clearly a computer error. Big deal. Ignore it. It's not worth getting even slightly annoyed about, never mind starting a thread on it. It's certainly not disgusting!
