no children around and it was relevant to the conversation I was having, although wanker would also have done. The people I was talking to laughed and agreed

I never use the c word normally

Snorts derisively at dittany but at same time partly admires her bravado (misplaced though it is)

retiredgoth · 10/06/2008 23:59

Bollocks

handlemecarefully · 11/06/2008 00:00

Arse

retiredgoth · 11/06/2008 00:06

...was just using my own genitalia as a swear word. Ahem.

Prick.

...whoops. There I go again....

VeniVidiVickiQV · 11/06/2008 00:11

LOL noddy

and LOL at enid's Derek and Clive act. We never do that here. Hoh no...... (extremely intelligent use of language by those two if i may say so).

The word itself is a side issue here.

I simply don't get the need to go apparently go against ones own personal boundaries in order to make someone else feel uncomfortable.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 11/06/2008 00:13

Is "big hairy ballbag" an insult?

IorekByrnison · 11/06/2008 00:13

You should have said "piss flaps". I find people are often more upset by this than by "cunt". It's more graphic I suppose.

wigparty · 11/06/2008 00:15

nah, piss flaps definitely more amusing than the potentially shocking 'c*'. I even get shocked when it's used 'out of context' and I'm pretty hard to shock.

retiredgoth · 11/06/2008 00:15

...perhaps this merits a randomised controlled trial, Iorek?

Pan · 11/06/2008 00:17

S1ur · 11/06/2008 00:33

Damn see I do like the evening crowd.

Have to say I was rather restrained and considered in my early afternoon posts.

I did want to mention that it isn't a great defence of your 'higher' position to use the terms chav and low class. That's naff and pretty baseless really
