Football trips

My husband is going away for a football trip in Morocco for a week in December and now he wants to go away for the World Cup in America next year for two weeks. AIBU to think two weeks is too long to go with his friends? We do go on family holidays as well but I just think two weeks is too long. I go on girls trips but its normally a week

I don’t think two weeks is long if he is going to a few games. Though you could find out what games he’s planning to see.

However…. have you seen the prices of tickets. This is going to be a VERY expensive boys trip!

I think it depends on whether you can afford it and whether if impacts family holidays. If you can and it doesn’t then what’s the issue?

My DH is going to the World Cup for two weeks as well. In exchange he suggested I have two weeks to go on a girls trip but I’ve said I’ll have one week as a girls trip and then one week on holiday with him (without the kids) wherever I want and he can’t moan once about what I want to do.

It is a long time but we’ll muddle through. My parents are around to help though, I would be less keen if I didn’t have much support
