If your ex left you to parent completely alone, just disappeared with no contact, no maintenance, nothing and then contacted you again out of the blue a few years later would you be annoyed or welcoming or their contact?

Furious.

madroid · 14/12/2025 01:22

I’d ignore. Treat them as the irrelevance they are

Catchasheep · 14/12/2025 01:36

I'd expect them to do the same again.

JudgeBread · 14/12/2025 01:45

I'd completely ignore them.

Alittlefrustrated · 14/12/2025 01:53

I'd worry that he would do it again. There wouls be no chance of a relationship with me.
He'd have to stay arround a long time before being allowwd back into DC Life

HelenaWaiting · 14/12/2025 07:04

The opportunity has probably passed, but I'd be: "Who? Sorry, no I don't remember you? Are you sure we've met?"

Zanatdy · 14/12/2025 07:20

I’d tell them to do one. Go to court if you want contact.

Thanks all, he seemed to think I should be grateful to hear from him again after so long and told me other women would be more understanding
