If your ex left you to parent completely alone, just disappeared with no contact, no maintenance, nothing and then contacted you again out of the blue a few years later would you be annoyed or welcoming or their contact?

Furious.

The opportunity has probably passed, but I'd be: "Who? Sorry, no I don't remember you? Are you sure we've met?"
