I actually quite like it and think it suits you.

Is it black and white polka dots or are the dots silver?

I think it is nice @TheOpalFox i would add a black patent belt or a silver one though. If silver belt do you have silver shoes?

Lmnop22 · 11/12/2025 16:30

I think you look lovely and it fits your figure beautifully!

user1471462634 · 11/12/2025 16:30

It's perfect I think. Covers arms, legs & is Christmassy, it's absolutely fine on you, it's a lovely dress.x

Sugarfish · 11/12/2025 16:31

I like it, I think it’s a good fit on you and gives you a cracking figure!

That dress does not look festive at all. Black, on Christmas?

Ghostspritz · 11/12/2025 16:34

I think it’s fine. Should shimmer under the lights.

Itiswhysofew · 11/12/2025 16:37

It's really lovel & suits you. What's making you self conscious?

sweeneytoddsrazor · 11/12/2025 16:37

I like it , it's so difficult isn't it finding something nice we feel comfortable in and is suitable. I have gone for plain black trousers and a sparkly top this year but I changed from a silver top to an emerald one because frankly the silver one had me resembling the turkey about to go in the oven.

JaneIves · 11/12/2025 16:40

FWIW, I think it suits you. And I think it’s festive! The silver is lovely and shimmery.
You do look like you’re rolling your shoulders ever so slightly forward, which can make you look boxy up top. Try standing with shoulders down and back a little.
would you have your hair up or down?
an up do would elongate the neck, and a nice crystal-ly short necklace would compliment.

It’s great, the v neck is great for your bust shape too. Where is it from?

I think you look lovely in it - also, importantly, it looks comfy! I love those style of dresses.

Pineapplewaves · 11/12/2025 16:44

It’s lovely, it fits really nicely, you just need a nice pair of shoes and bag to go with it.

Topjoe19 · 11/12/2025 16:45

You look lovely

I love clothes and fashion, and black and silver is my go-to look for Xmas! Esp with sparkly accessories.

When is the party?

Thaimonstera · 11/12/2025 18:58

I saw your post on style me happy, and just came to say again it looks good on you! If you want to jazz it up a bit, add a black waist belt and maybe a sparkly head band/hair accessory.
