But you have been in all day

Why is there no justice for this?

It does my head in. Had it with DPD this week. I was there, no one came near the house, then I got a text to say my parcel wouldn’t be collected as it was unavailable. As if I’d not answered the door or something. So you reschedule - but how do you know the same thing won’t happen again meaning another wasted day waiting in the house.
THAT SAID the poor drivers are on horrific schedules. I can understand that sometimes there just isn’t time to get every job done. Though it shouldn’t be so, and their planning and resourcing should be improved.

Despite large sign saying 'please use front door, please knock or text (gave number) & wait as I am disabled'. DPD decided: day 1, no attempt to deliver but 'you were out' text. Day 2: opened back door & came into house (via unheated unused basement). Left parcel on floor (thrown? as both items inside got damaged) down some steps. It got wet in storm too. It was my ASD Dds one requested (expensive) Christmas gift. I could cry. I have contacted selling Co & DPD. We shall see.

They tried that with us recently. I think the road through the village was closed and it would have been a long detour but that doesn’t excuse lying. I’m not sure who DH contacted and what he said but they turned up the next day rather than us having to go into town to the very inconvenient office. He thought the guy looked pissed off so maybe he’d had a bollocking.

So it’s not impossible to get justice (and more to the point, your parcel delivered)
