Probation officer

I’m thinking of a career change. I’ve always been a care assistant before and after children. With the shifts being 12 hours, it’s just not doable for me anymore around school hours.

Is there any probation officers on here? What are the hours and days like? Do you enjoy your job? I’ve always been really interested in being one but never considered following through with it until now. I don’t drive but have very reliable public transport where I am.

Sorry just reread that you’re a care assistant not a teaching assistant. Still, Probation is not a good place to be right now sadly.
