Everyone speaks in diagnostic language, nobody actually apologises anymore. AIBU to think self-awareness without accountability is narcissism?

I voted yabu because you used diagnostic language in your post by calling people narcissistic.

I do agree about people not being able to take accountability and apologise properly these days.

If you feel that nobody apologises any more I'd like to say that if it's my fault, then that is a situation that can be regretted. I hear your pain.

I think people are less direct and scared of offending but it’s been like that for ages and seems to be rolling back slightly.

I had some kind of epiphany a while ago where I lost all pride and ego and am now really good at taking criticism and objectively seeing when it’s deserved. It’s a really nice way to live because you end up having a good relationship with nearly everybody.
