Delivery men leaving parcels in communal corridor, I get blamed! Neighbours

We live in first flat in big bulding. Ground floor.

bunch of times, just today 6 times in 3 hours I had knock on my door saying it says they left with you

i say I never got anything, explain, they go but so it says your flat! Or it says They left on your porch.

i explain there is no porch, just communal corridor that like thousands of people walk in and out and anyone could of taken it

I’ve been blamed and accused of stealing their parcels by some. Angry knocks on door, shouting when I don’t open. I know you are in there! one woman even put her hand on my door saying you will not get away with it I bet you did it. I will call police!

I had another say well you must of saw it when leaving coming home why didn’t you keep it safe! You are complicit!

others more reasonable ones are now sending parcels to my door/with my address so “they don’t get stolen”

I would be sending a large and burly male BF or relative to discuss this with your shit neighbours. Get a ring doorbell.

Put a note on External Door
"Flat 1 will only accept parcels personally addressed to them.
Other parcels left in corridor have not been accepted by Flat 1 so are Undelivered"

I'd definitely get a ring doorbell and a sign saying "This flat (flat 1) does not accept any parcels that are not addressed to them and does not accept any responsibility for any parcels left in the corridor"

As pp have said, big sign on the door telling delivery men and your neighbours Plus a ring doorbell!
