Just for fun.

40s= aristocracy
30s=middle class
20s=working class
10s=underclass

I always thought I was middle class until I discovered because I was 16 I am indeed underclass.

and I guess if you’re one of the few who became a mother in your 50s you are a queen

I think this has changed over time. I had my first at 28, but that was nearly 50 years ago and was considered old to be starting a family. Definitely consider myself middle.

Quite. The late Queen had two children by the time she was 25. Hardly working class!

I'm 51 and childfree.

Does that make me royalty?

If you don’t have children you’ll need to consult the other threads to find out what class you are. Owning a bookshelf apparently makes you middle class but preferring football to rugby makes you working class. You’ll also have to measure your tv.

Yes I’ve seen a thread like that and the judgement towards the parent who isn’t capable of forcing their daughter to have an abortion I think those posters don’t realise they’re just lucky they didn’t have someone like me as their daughter my mum “wasn’t putting up with it” either and kicked me out at 16 still wasn’t enough to make me have an abortion.

I don’t think it’s legal to force a 16/17 to have an abortion and definitely not an 18/19 year old. Although they do seem to genuinely think because they believe they’re high class that means their daughter couldn’t possibly get pregnant before a respectable age

Jesus Christ, I would hope it’s not legal to force anyone to have an abortion. 😱

What class are we putting the old perverts who father children in their 70/80s as?

Haha good question !!!!

I think men in their 70s/80s can be good fathers if they look after their health etc as people often live now until over 90 - especially if they’ve not smoked or drank excessively but yes !! Very good question 🤣

I’d say emperor class but the only one I know behaves just like a scruffy wet dog smelling boot 🤣

This is nonsense for lots of reasons, but definitely because the average age of birth has changed over the decades. MIL had a child at 38 and that was deemed extremely old at the time. Now it doesn't at all.

True I guess it’s just meant to be for people who had children in the last ten or twenty years. My grandma also had her first child at 16 (married) and no one would have considered her underclass back then. People just got on with it back then
