AIBU MIL has come in drunk from her work Christmas party

And bloody told me that whilst there someone mentioned the game to her. So she has lost the fucking GAME. And because she told me, now I have lost the game also.

And as the rules of the game dictate I am duty bound to come on and inform you all that You have now also LOST THE GAME!

Everyone in the world is playing "The Game," and the goal is to forget it exists.
You lose (and announce it, often with "I lost the game!") the moment you remember The Game. Consequently anyone who reads your announcement also loses the game. You're "winning" as long as you can go the longest without thinking about it.

Well played OP, although I am now disappointed about 2 things. 1) losing the game, I was on a roll of about a year so yeah, thanks for that. 2) Not getting a good drunken MIL thread where OP is obviously unreasonable for thinking her MIL can't have any life outside of looking after their children or something.
