To run out the clock?

I had a hospital appt this morning and after everyone being ill with flu for what felt like forever (1 young DC, 1 baby, DP and me just at the tail end now) I was strangely looking forward to the waiting room time with no one talking to me or touching me or asking for anything or a routine to keep track of. DP is off with the baby this morning, big DC at school.
I bought 2hrs parking but my appt only took 30 mins start to finish!! 😱

AIBU to just run out the clock in the car with my cup of coffee just staring at the clouds and trawling through MN? 🤔

Do it! But is there not somewhere nicer you can go than sitting in a car?

Perfectly acceptable although I would recommend a walk vs siting in the car, better for the soul.

@KarmenPQZ @schoolfriend Totally get the recommendation and usually I’d agree. But honestly, there’s people out there and I detest the cold (unless I’m indoors). It’s warm in here and it’s sound proof! 😅
