Hello. I have been looking at DD attending Didsbury C of E primary school. There used to be preference for children attending any church that is part of Churches Together England. Now that has been removed in the new admissions criteria and preference is only given to children attending St James and Emmanuel Church. My husband works for another local church and therefore we attend there as a family. Does anyone know what sort of distances from the school children normally live at? I know it’s only 30 children in a year so must be competitive. Would we have to be in the centre of Didsbury village to have a chance?
