And yes, skills, experience, fiddly job etc. etc. - but that's more than the day rate for a locum consultant doctor!! And I absolutely DO think that a consultant doctor should be earning more than a plumber...

Caution needed when looking at newer types if installation too, as many plumbers don't have the expertise to deal with them. A friend had underfloor heating, worked badly, got plumber back who said that's how it is. Son's friend then took a look and had to rectify a number of installation issues, heating now works. Worth asking for their preferred areas of work!

I would probably get someone else. Many plumbing jobs you can do yourself.

Surrey prices by the sound of it. Seems to depend on wether they have other staff and if it is a high end bathroom fitting rather than just checking the boiler.
