Driving after a load of rum pies

Can I drive after eating a number of rum pies I bought them from Tesco finest. Is the alcohol content negligible even if I eat 8 of them. I also want to give some away

It depends on how much actual run is in them, or if it’s just rum flavour.

I know the BBC did an article saying that it would take 10 brandy mince pies to consume one unit of alcohol, but you would be stuffed/sick before eating that many, surely?

You'll be fine to drive.

No idea but I've never heard of rum pies and I love the sound of them!
