What would happen if you didn't bring your child to school?

I often wonder what would happen if I just didn't wake up - I'm a single parent and don't have anyone checking in on me. Would school or nursery do anything?

I only see each class once a week. I think the first week the students would just assume the class had been cancelled, the second week they would wonder. But I’m now wondering what they would actually do about it! Probably email me, but obviously no reply. I’m going to ask them!
