Second half without a doubt! First half I moved multiple times due to military connections, spent most of my time with an overwhelmed, narcissistic, emotionally abusive parent who I still truly believe was doing their best but my god it took some therapy to recover from, then we moved to a town where we were ostracized for being outsiders, got bullied relentlessly, my parents split, family imploded with siblings choosing sides in a rift which is still ongoing. First boyfriend was an abusive a-hole. My first job the manager was a bully and made my life miserable. There were some truly great friendships, probably the closest I've ever had, but the rest was bleak.
Then, went to uni, gained independence, travelled, taught English abroad, had some incredible jobs in fairytale locations, fell in love with an amazing man who taught me loads about myself, then met my now husband who is brilliant in a whole host of different ways, found a career path I love even if it doesn't make loads of money, became a parent which it turns out I'm pretty darn good at. Has been a load of adventures and wonderful experiences. Yes a few heartbreaks and horrible moments along the way, but they were small points in an otherwise positive picture as opposed to vice versa in the first half.
